Job summary

MICAS in Dubai is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer with an engineering background to drive growth in telecoms, cables, digitalization, and sustainability.

You will build relationships, identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver value to customers.

The role requires strong English communication, a valid UAE driving licence, and a proactive approach to AI trends and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Male and not more than 30 years of age.
• Excellent English communication is essential for client interaction.
• Valid driving licence; personal car preferred for visits.
• Previous sales experience in telecoms or related digitalization/sustainability products preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and awareness of current AI trends is advantageous.
• Good computer literacy including MS Office proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential customers.
• Build and maintain relationships to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Promote telecom products, cables, and digitalization/sustainability solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure solutions and timely deliveries.
• Conduct client visits and technical discussions to explain product features and value.
• Monitor market trends and AI developments to identify sales opportunities.
• Maintain customer records and sales reports using MS Office and ERP systems.
