Job summary

Johnson Controls in the UAE seeks a Sales Engineer, Security Systems to drive new business and hit sales targets across ELV offerings such as CCTV, Access Control, Command & Control Center, analytics and ICT.

You will develop competitive value propositions, prepare high-quality proposals, participate in tenders, and build long-term relationships with contractors, consultants and end users while showcasing technical solutions and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation.
• 3-5 years’ experience in ELV / Security Systems Sales in the UAE market.
• Experience in explaining technical solutions, commercial understanding.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Fluent language skills in English.
• UAE driving license is must.

Responsibilities

• Create, qualify and close new sales opportunities by developing competitive value propositions and proposals.
• Demonstrate expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls against competitors.
• Develop long-term customer relationships across Contractor, Consultant and End User levels.

What you will do

The Sales Engineer, Security Systems will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager, Security Systems - GCC. As part of a growing team, you will be responsible for generating new business and delivering a sales target in UAE across the ELV / Security Systems portfolio. You will concentrate on selling Greenfield / New Construction jobs and growing our market share with existing and new clients in focused verticals. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate profitable business. Your focus will be on Technology driven solutions; including CCTV, Access Control, Command Control Center, Analytics, ICT and other ELV / Physical security solutions.

How you will do it

Create, qualify and close new sales opportunities by developing competitive value propositions, high-quality proposals taking part in tendering and bidding process which will be supported by pre‑sales team. Demonstrate your expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls, leveraging your market understanding of our competitors’ strategies, products, solutions and services. Focused to seek and develop long term customer relationships on different levels, and self‑motivated to drive your territory/accounts’ growth. Determined and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning and time management skills. Drive your business ensuring 360 degrees stakeholder mapping from Contractor, Consultant and End User levels that will result in ensuring higher winning rates and driving your plan.
