Job summary

Johnson Controls in Abu Dhabi seeks a Sales Engineer to drive sales and delivery of Fire Protection and Fire Alarm Systems across the MEA region. You will report to the Sales Manager and base in Abu Dhabi, working with the Sales-Contracting Team (Oil and Gas) to expand our footprint and customer base.

You will pursue new opportunities, craft competitive proposals, participate in tenders, and build long-term customer relationships to achieve strong growth in the MEA market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical (or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Fire protection or Oil & Gas topics.
• Fluent English; UAE Driving License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Chase, qualify and close new sales opportunities for Fire Protection and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Contribute to tendering and bidding processes with high-quality proposals.
• Differentiate Johnson Controls through deep market knowledge of competitors and offerings.

How You Will Do It

As a Sales Engineer you will chase, qualify and close new sales opportunities by creating competitive, high quality proposals, and also take part in tendering and bidding process. You’ll demonstrate your expertise and knowledge of the Fire Protection and detection systems by differentiating Johnson Controls, leveraging your deep market knowledge of our competitor’s strategies, products and services.

You are focused to seek and develop long term customer relationships and self-motivated to drive your territory growth. You’re determined and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, and time management skills.
