Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dubai is seeking a Sales Support professional to assist in competitor research and maintain strong product knowledge for the hotel.

You will monitor market factors affecting performance, ensure accurate account data, and support the Sales team in communications, lead follow-up, and event coordination. A relevant hospitality degree and 2 years in hotel operations are preferred, with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience hotel operations.
• Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist to conduct extensive competitor research and maintain excellent Product Knowledge of the Hotel.
• Be aware of community, business, political and social factors that may affect the hotel’s financial performance.
• Ensure that the relevant information of all allocated Accounts is updated regularly in the record or electronic database system.
• In the absence of the Director of Sales/ Sales Manager/ Sales Executive, respond to all telephone calls or inquiries and relay information/messages to the managers concerned in a timely manner.
• Follow up sales leads whenever required or assigned by the Sales Managers/ Executives.
• Prepare, compile and distribute the weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner.
• Prepare and ensure all Events Orders are distributed to concerned department on a timely manner.
• Assist the Sales Manager/ Executives to follow up on all matters in the absence of the Sales Manager/ Executives.
