Job summary

Cummins in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Customer Support/Sales Admin to back the customer-facing sales force, handling inquiries, quotes, orders and delivery coordination.

You will gather data for quotes, relay order statuses, assist with visits and events, and help maintain inventory levels to support branch sales across retail customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service or sales support is desirable.
• Export controls or sanctions regulations licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer calls and emails, qualifies them, and routes leads to sales professionals.
• Prepares budgetary quotes by gathering data, lead times, and presentations for customers.
• Assists with customer visits and events and makes decisions when procedures are not defined.
• Receives and processes orders, issues order acknowledgments, invoices and shipping notices.
• Communicates order and inventory status to the sales force and resolves issues.
• Monitors inventory levels and creates orders if needed.
• Supports branch personnel in selling products to retail customers.

Job Summary:

Supports customer facing sales force through the rhythm of sales; Lead to close. Executes, supports, improves selected activities under limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Responds to incoming customer calls, emails, qualifies them, and routes the qualified contacts and leads to associated sales professional(s).Compiles budgetary quotes for simple to complicated jobs by gathering technical data, customer presentations, lead time and others for customer facing sales force.Gets involved in customer visits and events, makes decisions where there is no clear procedure outlined.Receives and processes orders, issues order acknowledgements, invoices and shipping notices for simple to complicated jobs.Communicates order status, inventory status and other associated information to customer facing sales force, and identifies any issues.Resolves customer issues where applicable, engages other for resolution where applicable (including shipment and after sale).Periodically reviews and reports inventory/stock levels, takes action and creates orders if needed.Actively supports all branch personnel in the sale of products to retail customers across varying levels of tasks.
