Overview of the Role

The Retail Sales Representative supports both commercial performance and the day-to-day customer journey. From welcoming shoppers and assisting with merchandise to processing transactions and supporting store operations, the role requires an attentive, approachable, and flexible retail professional. Maintaining a clean and organized environment is an important part of the position, together with following pricing, ticketing, security, and company procedures.

What You Will Do

• Welcome customers promptly with a friendly greeting when they enter the store.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation standards to create an organized shopping environment.
• Assist customers professionally and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
• Deliver efficient service at the cash wrap and process sales transactions using the POS system.
• Offer gift cards and capture customer information in the database as required.
• Keep the cash wrap area clean and properly organized.
• Provide quality fitting-room service and follow up with customers in a timely manner.
• Identify appropriate opportunities to add to the customer 's purchase.
• Thank customers as they leave the store and invite them to return.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales goals established by management.

Operational Support

Support the Store Manager with opening, closing, security, and other routine store operations. When required, take responsibility for running the store during the Store Manager 's absence. Train new staff in Point of Sale operations and assist with corrective actions at the POS. Follow established pricing and ticketing procedures to help protect the company against avoidable losses.
