Job summary

Mode.Inc is seeking a CRM/Retention Marketing Specialist to design and operate email and SMS campaigns in a remote-first, globally distributed setting. You will build lifecycle programs, nurture newsletters, and manage audience hygiene using CleverTap or beehiiv, while leveraging AI to optimize performance.

The role requires 3-5 years in retention or CRM marketing, with hands-on automation and data interpretation skills, and a track record of growing newsletters from scratch.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing.
• AI-native approach to automating workflows.
• Hands-on experience designing automated flows and trigger logic.
• Ability to pull and interpret performance data independently.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability to meet daily send windows.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, QA, and send email and SMS campaigns, including managing recurring daily newsletters.
• Design and implement lifecycle programs such as welcome series, post-purchase, and re-engagement journeys.
• Build and launch new newsletters from scratch using beehiiv or CleverTap.
• Manage contact imports, tagging, segmentation, list hygiene, and domain reputation health.
• Integrate AI for copy generation, audience targeting, and performance optimization to scale production.
