Job summary

Siemens Energy, a global energy technology leader, seeks a Bid Specialist in the Middle East to manage end-to-end bid preparation for the UAE and broader region. You will coordinate technical, commercial, and legal inputs, align with stakeholders, and ensure compliant, competitive proposals.

You will lead schedules, cost and pricing analyses, and risk mitigation, collaborating with legal, tax and finance teams to deliver winning bids.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
5-8 years of experience in bid management, proposal analysis or commercial sales operations in the Middle East.
Expertise in proposal writing, tender analysis, compliance and bid management methodologies.
Strong cost estimation, pricing strategies and risk identification/mitigation skills.
Excellent stakeholder collaboration, project management and CRM usage.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end bid preparation coordinating technical, commercial and legal inputs.
Define bidding strategy by analyzing tender requirements and scope of work.
Establish bid schedules and ensure on-time submissions.
Perform cost calculations, pricing analysis and margin evaluations.
Identify commercial/contractual risks and propose mitigations per policy.
Coordinate with legal, tax, and finance to validate bid terms.
Facilitate alignment meetings with regional sales leadership and track bid status.
