Job summary

ODMAR, a UAE-based financial services company, is hiring a Debt Collection Officer. The role is about 80% collections and 20% bringing in new collection clients.

You will manage overdue B2B invoices, contact debtors by phone, WhatsApp and email, negotiate settlements, track promises to pay and prepare files for legal escalation. You will also source new companies needing collection support and update case status daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in debt collection, credit control or accounts receivable; B2B preferred, GCC experience a plus.
• Fluent Arabic (comfortable with Gulf dialect) and good English.
• Firm, calm negotiator who is persistent and organized.
• Works UAE business hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of overdue B2B invoices.
• Contact debtors by phone, WhatsApp and email, and negotiate settlements and payment plans.
• Track promises to pay and follow up until payment lands.
• Prepare files for legal escalation, including bounced-cheque cases.
• Update case status and notes daily.
• Source new companies that need collection support.
