Job summary

ARES SMART TECHNOLOGY LLC in the UAE seeks a seasoned Business Development & Sales Manager to drive growth of its physical security portfolio across UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Egypt. The role leads government and enterprise stakeholder engagement, shapes regional strategy, and manages the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in quota-carrying security tech sales, fluency in English and Arabic, and a strong understanding of procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years quota-carrying sales/business development in UAE and/or GCC and Egypt, in physical security tech.
• Proven track record with government or large enterprises in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and/or Egypt.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, written and spoken, is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales and BD strategy across UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Egypt.
• Identify and manage relationships with senior government and enterprise stakeholders.
• Own full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing.
• Navigate procurement, tendering, and partner requirements in each market.
• Collaborate with technical teams on RFP/RFI responses, demos, and PoCs.
• Represent ARES at industry events and exhibitions regionally and internationally.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast; report to Regional President, MENA.
• Provide market intelligence on competitive activity and procurement trends.
