Qualifications

  • 2-5 years industry experience at a similar level required.
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods handling is a plus.
  • Aviation Security experience is advantageous.

Job description

The role is instrumental within the Crane Worldwide business to support guide and implement policies and procedures both corporate and local that will protect and provide a safe environment for our staff clients vendors and visitors. The role encompasses AEO procedures Quality Health & Safety Security and Environmental considerations.

Essential Job Functional:
Compliance Control
  • Coordination of regular audits within the framework of QHSSE company policy.
  • Management of the companys STARS reporting system within EMEA.
Health & Safety
  • Supports the Manager with HSE Policy and Guidelines.
  • Ensures in accordance with the Corporate guidelines the implementation updating review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.
  • Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
  • Provides for motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety equipment provided.
  • Ensuring that safety audits for all Crane Worldwide premises are conducted on time at regular monthly intervals.
  • Takes part in accident / incident investigation.
  • Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
  • Provides technical support to project team on any safety related subjects.
  • Coordinate any in-house safety training where applicable.
  • Carries out safety audits on Sub-contractors where applicable.
  • Coordination and management of Risk Assessments for all office warehouse and transport activities.
  • Provides Safety support and advice including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities where required.
  • Understand the application of the Health and Safety at Work etc. and other legislation relevant to the Companies business.
  • Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Management team any relevant new legislation.
  • Ensure that all assessments as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same.
  • To recommend control measures and advise on the standard of P.P.E. issued to employees.
  • Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports of all the companys operations.
  • Immediately contact his manager if situations are found that in the opinion of the QHSSE Supervisor require immediate rectification or the stopping of any operation.
  • To notify Manager if the corrective action agreed after any workplace inspection is not implemented by the arranged date.
  • Highlight to country leadership areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation Approved Codes of Practice or H.S.E. guidance.
  • To bring new techniques for improving health safety and welfare to the attention of the Management team.
  • To set a personal example by wearing appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment and observing all safety requirements/procedures.
Security:
  • Review and develop the Regulated Agent Security programme
  • Review security protocols and develop strategy to ensure facilities are secure
  • Construct security incident reports as when occurrences
  • Work with branch facilities to assist with regulated agent security programmes
Quality:
  • Assist in implementing new measures process and protocols to assist in obtaining new certifications relating to quality as required
  • Work with business units to assist with external and internal quality audit preparation.
  • Regular reviews with CWW regional business units to ensure that compliance is maintained under the companys quality management system.
  • Reviewing existing procedures to ensure that they meet with current guidelines and customer expectation.
  • Maintaining documentation of procedural changes
  • Ensuring that all quality documents are current and relevant for the region
  • Collaborating with vendors to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained
  • Ensuring that processes are aligned with national or international standards such as ISO9001:2015 GDP AEO ISO45001 and ISO14001.

  • Computer Literate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office internet web based and job specific software applications
  • Proven track record in Health and Safety environments
  • Proven track record in Security environments

  • Previous Supervisory experience
