Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control for high-rise tower projects, ensuring compliance with project specs, UAE codes and international standards. The role requires extensive experience in consultancy or supervision and oversight of contractor quality performance from foundation to handover.

You will develop and implement PQMP in line with ISO 9001, review ITPs and material submittals, lead audits, coordinate NCRs, and mentor site QA/QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years QA/QC experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven experience in a consultancy or supervision firm.
• Demonstrated track record on high-rise tower construction projects in the UAE (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards and UAE construction codes.
• Proficiency with quality documentation systems (Aconex, ACC, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) in line with ISO 9001 and client/consultant requirements.
• Review and approve contractor Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
• Lead quality audits, inspections, and surveillance across all construction stages (substructure, superstructure, façade, MEP, finishing).
• Coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track corrective/preventive actions to closure.
• Oversee material testing and ensure compliance with approved specifications and Dubai Municipality / relevant authority codes.
• Chair quality review meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Ensure proper documentation, quality records, and handover/close-out reports (QCP, ITP registers, test certificates).
• Review and approve concrete pour requests, rebar inspections, and structural quality checkpoints critical to high-rise builds.
• Liaise with third-party testing laboratories and certification bodies.
• Mentor and manage site QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
• Support snagging, de-snagging, and DLP quality processes.
• Ensure compliance with Trakhees/DM/DCD and other applicable UAE regulatory authorities.

The role requires strong prior exposure working within a consultancy or supervision firm, overseeing contractor quality performance from foundation through to handover.
