Job summary

Azizi Developments, a Dubai-based developer, is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance and quality control across high-rise construction projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, UAE codes, and project specifications.

You will work with the Supervision team, review ITPs, conduct site inspections, manage NCRs, and coordinate with laboratories through to handover, contributing to safe, high-quality builds in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 5–8 years of QA/QC experience.
• Experience working within a consultancy or supervision firm (not solely contractor-side).
• Demonstrated experience on high-rise tower construction projects in the UAE (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards and UAE construction codes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) at site level in line with ISO 9001 and consultant requirements.
• Review contractor Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals for compliance.
• Conduct daily quality inspections and surveillance across construction stages (substructure, superstructure, façade, MEP, finishing).
• Raise and track Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) through to closure.
• Witness and verify material testing, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and relevant authority codes.
• Attend and support quality review meetings with contractors and client representatives.
• Maintain quality records, inspection registers, and test certificates.
• Carry out concrete pour checks, rebar inspections, and structural quality checkpoints critical to high‑rise builds.
• Coordinate with third‑party testing laboratories for sampling and test results.
• Support snagging, de‑snagging, and DLP (Defects Liability Period) quality processes.
• Ensure site activities comply with Trakhees/DM/DCD and other applicable UAE regulatory requirements.
• Report quality status and issues to the QA/QC Manager.

As a QA/QC Engineer will support quality assurance and quality control activities on high‑rise tower construction projects, working within the Supervision team to monitor contractor compliance with project specifications, UAE codes, and international standards from foundation through to handover.
