Qualifications

• Eight to twelve years of experience in QAQC roles within civil construction projects.
• Strong experience in interior finishing works and fit out projects within high end residential or commercial developments.
• Mandatory UAE or GCC construction industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality management systems and ISO 9001 standards.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and coordination skills across project teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project quality plan, inspection and test plans for interior and fit out construction works.
• Conduct inspections for civil finishing works including drywall installation and flooring.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure construction quality compliance.
• Review and approve material submittals and technical documentation before site execution.
• Issue non conformance reports, conducting internal quality audits as needed.
• Maintain inspection records and quality reports according to ISO standards.

Azizi Developments is hiring a Senior QAQC Engineer Civil Interiors and Fit Out in Dubai, UAE to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities related to civil finishing, interior works, and fit out construction across large scale residential and mixed use developments. The role focuses on ensuring all interior construction works meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and company quality benchmarks. The successful candidate will lead inspections, monitor finishing works, manage quality documentation, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure superior construction quality before project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project quality plan, inspection and test plans, and method statements for interior and fit out construction works.
• Conduct inspections for civil finishing works including drywall installation, false ceilings, flooring, tiling, marble installation, joinery, painting, waterproofing, and façade interface area.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure construction quality compliance.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation before site execution.
• Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, regulatory authority requirements, and engineering standards.
• Issue non conformance reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions with contractors and site teams.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support third party inspections when required.
• Monitor construction mock ups and sample approvals prior to project execution.
• Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and project documentation according to ISO quality standards.
• Oversee snagging and de snagging activities to ensure projects meet finishing quality requirements before handover.
• Support final project handover documentation and quality certification processes.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Eight to twelve years of experience in QAQC roles within civil construction projects.
• Strong experience in interior finishing works and fit out projects within high end residential or commercial developments.
