Role Context

The Project Engineer will take an active role in coordinating daily construction activities and connecting site teams with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, Dubai Municipality, and internal engineering departments. Key Responsibilities

• Complete required site transactions through the Dubai Building Permits System and Dubai Municipality portal.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, quality plans, client requirements, and technical documentation before execution begins.
• Identify the engineering information, resources, and materials required to complete assigned construction activities.
• Prepare sketches, technical details, and explanatory drawings that provide clear execution guidance to foremen and site teams.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, Dubai Municipality representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, and company project personnel.
• Investigate site constraints and develop practical solutions for technical and construction-related problems.
• Control assigned activities against project schedules and required completion dates.
• Lead and coordinate site teams to achieve planned productivity and construction milestones.
• Inspect completed works before formal submission for consultant and municipality approval.
• Coordinate inspections, comments, corrective actions, and final handover of completed construction activities.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing progress information.
• Monitor daily construction works against QA/QC requirements, approved procedures, technical standards, and project specifications.
• Raise material requisitions according to construction priorities and upcoming site requirements.
• Prepare daily work programs covering current activities, manpower requirements, priorities, and planned progress.
• Coordinate with the safety team to ensure site operations are carried out according to established safety controls.
• Develop short-term detailed schedules for critical, delayed, or high-priority construction activities.
• Introduce catch-up and recovery measures where progress is falling behind the approved project program.
