Role Context

The Site Engineer will provide technical and operational support across active construction areas, ensuring resources, equipment, materials, manpower, quality requirements, and safety controls are properly coordinated. Key Responsibilities

• Organize construction materials and maintain orderly, safe, and efficient work areas.
• Confirm that required tools, materials, equipment, and machinery are available before scheduled activities begin.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and site personnel during execution.
• Review construction challenges and recommend practical improvements that support productivity and buildability.
• Coordinate with plant and workshop teams regarding machinery, equipment availability, maintenance requirements, and site deployment.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered in accordance with construction priorities and agreed schedules.
• Monitor daily site activities and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, construction methods, and project requirements.
• Prepare clear daily and weekly progress reports for project management.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant project stakeholders.
• Work closely with the safety team to ensure construction activities comply with established site safety requirements.
• Study civil, structural, architectural, and related construction drawings before starting assigned activities.
• Develop practical activity timelines and discuss sequencing and priorities with project management.

Practical experience supervising building construction activities and coordinating daily execution across multiple work fronts. UAE or wider GCC construction experience is preferred. Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, technical details, and project requirements. Candidates should understand construction materials, workmanship standards, site safety requirements, equipment coordination, and quality control procedures. Experience dealing with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, foremen, and internal project teams is important. The role requires an engineer who is comfortable working directly on active construction sites and capable of making timely technical decisions when execution issues arise.
