Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Dubai is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate end-to-end valve order execution, ensuring technical approvals, procurement, and financial documentation are aligned for on-time delivery.

You will liaise with procurement, engineering, and production to secure right specifications, manage supplier expediting, and prepare post-order documentation, including inspections and client approvals.

Qualifications

• Understanding technical and commercial requirements of the contract.

• Coordinate with Buyer for ordering materials with right technical specifications.
• Expediting with suppliers/manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate with Finance for Bank guarantee submissions and progress invoices.

• Maintain communication with third party inspection agencies and freight forwarders.
• Ensure alignment with contractual delivery times and customer drawings approvals.

Role Summary:

As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate the end-to-end execution of valve supply orders, managing technical approvals, procurement, financial documentation, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Understanding technical and commercial requirements of the contract,
• Booking the order in the system after technical and commercial review.
• Coordinate with Buyer for ordering materials with right technical specifications
• Expediting with suppliers' /manufacturing sites.
• Technical Document submission and arrange approval by client.
• Coordinate with Finance team for Bank guarantee submissions, progress payment invoices
• Coordinate with other functions and arrange for shipment of order, complete post order documentation.
• Coordination with third party inspection agencies.
• Coordination with freight forwarders as and when necessary.
• Ensure orders are shipped within contractual delivery time.
• Coordinate with Engineering team and obtain drawing approvals from the customer
• Support production by providing tactical advice and guidance on specification deviations and waiver, and other activities as required
• Conduct production planning meeting to communicate the product requirement, specifications, timeline etc. to all applicable departments including Engineering, product management, production, quality, procurement etc.
• Prepare Inspection and Test plans
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Engineering graduate in mechnaical, production or instrumentation engineering .
• Candidates with Diploma with 10+ years of experience in project management shall be considered .
• 7+ years related experience in valve industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Exposure to dealing with global customers
• Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
• Effective verbal and written communications
