Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Engineer to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products and customer-specific solutions. You will coordinate daily order fulfillment, provide quotation support, perform routine engineering analysis, and contribute to detailed layout and operations support.

Preferred candidates will have CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with pump experience.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years pump experience and strong knowledge of pumps.
• Proficiency in CAD/3D design and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate project schedules, costs, risks and deliverables; develop contingency plans.
• Communicate with customers professionally and timely.
• Lead project executions to maintain schedule and financial milestones.
• Ensure specifications are understood and adhered to during projects.
• Coordinate contractor visits and obtain quotes as required.
• Assist with shipping documentation when necessary.

Role Summary:
As a Project Engineer, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products, technologies and customer-specific solutions. You’ll also coordinate the daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include quotation support, routine engineering analysis, detailed layout/mechanical design and operations support.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Act as singlepoint of contact for customers.
• Proactively monitor project schedule, costs, risks, and deliverables; develop contingency plans as necessary.
• Communicate with customers in a timely, professional clear manner.
• Responsible for project executions to establish schedule, monitoring project margin erosion, and ensuring financial milestone during the course of project are met in a timely
• Ensure project specifications are understood and being complied during the course of the of the project
• Coordinate and participate in contractor site visits and arrange contractor quotes as required
• Support shipping documentations in case if necessary

Preferred Experience / Skills :

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Knowledge of ANSYS is a plus (CFD, FEA)
• ndustrial experience in development and design
• Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Effective verbal and written communications
• Able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and business groups globally
• Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a plus
• Relevant experience with SAP/ERP system is preferrable
• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering / package execution experience / with 2 years minimum experience in pump / strong knowlege in pumps
