Job summary

Flowserve M E Repair of Pumps and Valves LLC SPC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Project Engineer to develop new products, coordinate local order fulfillment, provide quotation support, and perform detailed layout and mechanical design.

The role requires strong MS Office and CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor), familiarity with ANSYS CFD/FEA, and 2+ years in pump-related engineering. You will collaborate with stakeholders globally and ensure project milestones and documentation.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years minimum experience in pump / strong knowledge in pumps.
• Experience in development and design of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for customers.
• Proactively monitor project schedule, costs, risks, and deliverables; develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate and participate in contractor site visits and arrange contractor quotes.
• Support shipping documentation as necessary.

Role Summary

As a Project Engineer, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products, technologies and customer-specific solutions. You’ll also coordinate the daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include quotation support, routine engineering analysis, detailed layout/mechanical design and operations support.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Act as single point of contact for customers. Proactively monitor project schedule, costs, risks, and deliverables; develop contingency plans as necessary. Communicate with customers in a timely, professional clear manner. Responsible for project executions to establish schedule, monitoring project margin erosion, and ensuring financial milestone during the course of project are met in a timely Ensure project specifications are understood and being complied during the course of the of the project Coordinate and participate in contractor site visits and arrange contractor quotes as required Support shipping documentations in case if necessary

Preferred Experience / Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) Knowledge of ANSYS is a plus (CFD, FEA) ndustrial experience in development and design Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Effective verbal and written communications Able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and business groups globally Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a plus Relevant experience with SAP/ERP system is preferrable BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering / package execution experience / with 2 years minimum experience in pump / strong knowlege in pumps
