Job summary

Flowserve in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Engineer to work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products and customer-specific solutions, and to coordinate daily order fulfillment on assigned projects. The role requires strong CAD skills and MS Office proficiency, plus SAP/ERP knowledge.

You will monitor schedules, costs, risks, and deliverables, communicate with customers professionally, and ensure specifications are met while supporting shipping documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of pump development or related field experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and SAP/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for customers.
• Proactively monitor project schedule, costs, risks and deliverables; develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects.
• Provide quotation support and engineering analyses.
• Ensure project specifications are understood and followed.
• Coordinate contractor site visits and arrange quotes as required.

Job description

Role Summary:

As a Project Engineer, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products, technologies and customer-specific solutions. You'll also coordinate the daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include quotation support, routine engineering analysis, detailed layout/mechanical design and operations support.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Act as single point of contact for customers.
• Proactively monitor project schedule, costs, risks, and deliverables; develop contingency plans as necessary.
• Communicate with customers in a timely, professional clear manner.
• Responsible for project executions to establish schedule, monitoring project margin erosion, and ensuring financial milestone during the course of project are met in a timely
• Ensure project specifications are understood and being complied during the course of the of the project
• Coordinate and participate in contractor site visits and arrange contractor quotes as required
• Support shipping documentations in case if necessary

Preferred Experience / Skills :

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Knowledge of ANSYS is a plus (CFD, FEA)
• ndustrial experience in development and design
• Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Effective verbal and written communications
• Able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and business groups globally
• Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a plus
• Relevant experience with SAP/ERP system is preferrable
• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering / package execution experience / with 2 years minimum experience in pump / strong knowlege in pumps
