Job summary

noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.

About the project

Today’s customers often have immediate shopping needs - from last-minute gifts and occasion outfits to urgent travel essentials. However, most premium brands in Dubai operate primarily through physical stores, leaving no convenient way to access their products instantly.

noon’s new venture aims to bridge this gap by bringing stores online. It allows customers to shop from their favorite premium brands from the comfort of their homes and receive their orders instantly - no traffic, no parking, no waiting.

We are building this app for a premium customer segment with discerning taste - so a high bar for aesthetic sense, extreme attention to detail, and an appreciation for luxury are essential for this role.

This is not a project management role. We’re seeking product management professionals with a genuine passion for understanding and solving customer problems, and for building innovative, ground-breaking products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the consumer app strategy and translate it into a clear and actionable product roadmap.
  • Articulate business and customer problems, ask the right questions and independently arrive at solutions in a structured and self sufficient manner. Strong problem solving skills are a must.
  • Write clear and comprehensive PRDs to align business, design and engineering teams. Be extremely organized to ensure that the project is on track.
  • Deeply understand customer pain points to design solutions that create a seamless and delightful experience.
  • Define the MVP to validate hypotheses and use insights to evolve features into sustainable product solutions.
  • Act as the bridge between the customers, business and tech, translating requirements into detailed user stories and product specs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial strategy, sales, design, engineering and data teams to deliver key initiatives.
Experience
  • 4–6 years of relevant product management experience, preferably in e-commerce or quick commerce.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver complex launches on time.
