Job summary

A leading international EPC contractor in Dubai is seeking Rotating Equipment professionals including Lead Design Engineers, Senior Design Engineers, and Process Designers. Candidates should have a strong background in process engineering within the Oil & Gas sector, with a minimum of 5-15 years of relevant experience based on role. These positions require excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of international codes and standards. Prior experience on ADNOC projects is highly preferred. Qualifications

  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience for Lead Engineer in Oil & Gas.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience for Senior Engineer in Oil & Gas.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience for Process Design Engineer in Oil & Gas.
  • 5-10 years of experience for Process Designer in layouts and drawings.
  • Prior ADNOC project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Process Engineering discipline for assigned projects.
  • Develop, review, and approve process design deliverables including PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, SIL, and other safety studies.
  • Prepare and check process engineering deliverables.
  • Provide technical support during procurement and construction phases.

We are looking for talented and motivated Rotating Equipment professionals to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. Open positions include Lead Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer. The ideal candidates will bring strong technical expertise in engineering design, familiarity with international codes and standards, and proven experience working on Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities (based on role):
Lead Design Engineer - Process
  • Lead and manage the Process Engineering discipline for assigned projects.
  • Develop, review, and approve process design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and process datasheets.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and client specifications.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, SIL, and other safety studies.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Support proposals and business development activities with process engineering inputs.
Senior Design Engineer - Process
  • Prepare and check process engineering deliverables including calculations, datasheets, and design reports.
  • Support lead engineers in executing process design activities.
  • Perform simulations and equipment sizing to meet project requirements.
  • Actively participate in HAZOP and design reviews.
  • Provide technical support during procurement and construction phases.
Process Design Engineer
  • Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets.
  • Carry out hydraulic calculations, line sizing, and relief system design.
  • Support process safety design studies and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for integrated design solutions.
  • Assist in technical evaluations of vendor offers.
Process Designer
  • Prepare and update process drawings (PFDs, P&IDs) using CAD tools.
  • Assist engineers in preparing documentation and design deliverables.
  • Ensure accurate drafting and revisions of process layouts and diagrams.
  • Maintain drawing records and ensure compliance with project standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Lead Engineer: Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Senior Engineer: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Process engineering engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Process Design Engineer: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Process engineering engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Process Designer: Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering / Drafting.
  • 5-10 years of experience in preparing drawings and layouts.
  • Prior experience on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
