Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks a Principal Geoscience and Petroleum Disciplinary Engineering and Science leader to guide multidisciplinary teams in evaluating upstream assets and delivering strategic recommendations to clients and investors.

The role requires strong technical judgment, business acumen, and extensive experience in complex studies from inception to delivery, ensuring quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, Earth Sciences, Petroleum Geoscience, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in oil & gas, energy consulting, or upstream petroleum industry.
• Demonstrated experience in asset evaluation, due diligence, reserves & resources, development planning, and integrated subsurface studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated subsurface evaluations using geophysical, geological, petrophysical, reservoir engineering, and production data.
• Lead technical and commercial due diligence studies for M&A, investments, and asset divestments.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Support business development with client presentations, proposals, and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with QA procedures and project governance.
