Job description
Postdoctoral Researcher – Mobility Theme

A Postdoctoral Researcher will contribute to interdisciplinary research at the Center for Interacting Urban Networks (CITIES) focusing on mobility within Urban Systems. The role involves monitoring, modeling, and controlling multimodal transportation systems, exploring new vehicle technologies, integrating traffic flow theory with data science, and assessing the impact of cybersecurity on transportation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct cutting‑edge research in mobility and related fields.
  • Collaborate with researchers across CITIES themes such as Fairness and Uncertainty.
  • Lead independent research projects and publish results.
  • Engage with local stakeholders, private companies, and academic partners.
Qualifications
  • PhD in engineering, computer science, urban science, or related field.
  • Experience in transportation research, ideally in urban science.
  • Strong computational, data management, and scientific creativity skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.
