Job summary

Aurora Prime Investment LLC is seeking a Senior Planner/ Scheduler to prepare, review, and monitor project schedules for construction and development projects in the UAE. You will track progress against baselines, identify delays, and produce reports and dashboards to support decisions in line with contract requirements.

The role requires 5–8 years of planning experience, strong Primavera P6 skills, and good knowledge of CPM, look-ahead planning, and EOT assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant planning experience in construction or real estate development.
• Strong UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Experience with PMC/Engineering Consultancy/Developer environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing and progress measurement.

• Analyze milestones, dependencies, durations, and look-ahead schedules.

• Assist in delay analysis, EOT submissions, and mitigation planning.

About This Role

What you will do

Schedule Development & Review

• Develop, review, and update detailed project programmers and schedules.
• Review contractors' baseline programmers, revised programmers, recovery programmers, and periodic updates.
• Review project milestones, critical activities, logical dependencies, and overall project durations.
• Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and identify activities affecting the project completion date.
• Review contractors' look-ahead programmers (2-week, 4-week, and similar).

Progress Monitoring

• Monitor actual progress and compare it against the approved baseline schedule.
• Review contractors' weekly and monthly progress updates and verify reported progress.
• Monitor design, procurement, authority approvals, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities against the programmed.
• Conduct site visits to verify actual progress against reported progress.

Reporting & Dashboards

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Prepare and maintain S-curves, progress charts, manpower histograms, and look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain accurate planning records and historical project progress data.

Delay & Risk Management

• Identify potential delays, schedule risks, and areas of concern, and escal...
• Assess the schedule impact of variations, changes, and delayed activities.
• Support the assessment of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and delay claims and contribute to delay analysis.
• Monitor corrective and recovery actions proposed by contractors and support recovery/mitigation planning.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and engineers to obtain accurate progress information.
• Participate in progress meetings and provide planning and schedule updates.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant planning experience in construction, project management, or real estate development.
• Strong UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Prior experience with a Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering Consultancy, Developer, or Client-side organization is highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6; good knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, project scheduling, critical path analysis, and progress measurement.
• Experience reviewing contractors' baseline, recovery, and revised programmers.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts, EOT assessment, and delay analysis are an advantage.
• Experience with residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments is preferred.
