Job summary

Perfect Technical and Landscaping LLC in the UAE seeks a skilled Planning & Scheduling professional to develop and manage project programmes using Primavera P6 and MS Project, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.

You will monitor progress, coordinate with engineers and site teams, and prepare reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans to keep landscaping, irrigation, pools, and civil works on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, MEP engineering, or related field.
• 4–8 years of relevant planning and project controls experience.
• Experience in landscaping, construction, infrastructure, or external works projects (UAE preferred).
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Prepare baseline programmes, master schedules, look-ahead and recovery schedules.
• Update programmes based on site progress, changes, and requirements.

• Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

  • Prepare baseline programmes, master schedules, detailed activity schedules, look-ahead programmes, recovery schedules, and revised programmes.

  • Establish project milestones, activity sequences, dependencies, and critical paths in line with contractual requirements.

  • Update project programmes regularly based on actual site progress, approved changes, and project requirements.

  • Monitor construction activities related to landscaping, irrigation, swimming pools, water features, hardscape, softscape, and civil works.

  Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor actual project progress against approved baseline programmes and planned targets.

  • Track critical activities, delays, constraints, risks, and potential impacts on project completion.

  • Collect progress information from Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including progress updates, S-curves, dashboards, and schedule analysis.

  • Measure productivity and identify variances between planned and actual progress.

  • Highlight areas requiring corrective and preventive actions to maintain project timelines.

  Resource & Project Controls

  • Prepare and monitor manpower histograms, resource loading, equipment requirements, and project cash flow forecasts.

  • Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, procurement activities, approvals, and subcontractor progress against the project schedule.

  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

  • Maintain procurement schedules, material delivery trackers, submittal logs, and project planning records.

  • Support project teams in optimizing resources and improving productivity.

  Delay Analysis & Recovery

  • Identify causes and impacts of project delays and schedule slippages.

  • Prepare recovery programmes and mitigation plans in coordination with project teams.

  • Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis.

  • Monitor delay events, variations, approvals, procurement constraints, and other factors affecting project completion.

  • Provide planning inputs for revised programmes and recovery strategies.

  Coordination & Project Support

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Commercial, QA/QC, HSE teams, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

  • Attend project progress and coordination meetings and provide planning updates.

  • Consolidate project status information and communicate key schedule issues to management.

  • Support the Technical and Commercial Manager with planning, project controls, documentation, and reporting.

  • Maintain accurate project schedules, planning records, reports, and supporting documentation.

  • Assist during project handover and close-out activities as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in planning and project controls.

• Proven experience in landscaping, construction, infrastructure, swimming pool, or external works projects.

• UAE experience in landscaping or construction is highly preferred.

• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.

• Good understanding of construction planning, scheduling, sequencing, resource loading, progress measurement, and project controls.

• Experience with landscaping activities such as hardscape, softscape, irrigation, swimming pools, water features, and civil works is an advantage.

• Knowledge of delay analysis, recovery planning, and EOT preparation.

• Strong analytical, organizational, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.

• Familiarity with UAE construction practices and project documentation.

• Valid UAE Driving Licence is preferred/required as per project requirements.
