About the job PIPELINE ENGINEER (STRESS ANALYSIS)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pipeline Engineer to join our team for the engineering phase of offshore EPCI projects, based in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for FEED (Front‑End Engineering Design), Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design activities for subsea pipeline systems, focusing on safe, efficient, and technically sound solutions for offshore oil and gas developments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and execute pipeline engineering activities during FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases.
  • Conduct in‑place pipeline design analysis, including wall thickness calculations, on‑bottom stability, free span assessment, expansion, and buckling checks.
  • Develop pipeline routing studies, alignment sheets, trenching and burial design, and crossing details based on survey and geotechnical data.
  • Prepare and review technical documents such as design basis, specifications, material selection reports, engineering calculations, and design reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., DNV-ST-F101, ASME B31.4/8, API, ISO) and client specifications.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, structural, geotechnical, installation) to deliver integrated pipeline solutions.
  • Provide technical input to procurement activities including material requisitions, bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and client meetings.
  • Provide support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning stages as needed.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Pipeline Engineering.
  • 5-15 years of experience in offshore pipeline engineering, with strong exposure to EPCI projects.
  • Proven experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design of subsea pipeline systems.
  • Proficient in pipeline engineering software such as OFFPIPE, Caesar II, ABAQUS, OrcaFlex, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline routing, seabed interaction, and installation constraints.
  • Familiar with international design codes and standards applicable to subsea pipelines.
  • Experience in developing deliverables for major clients such as Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, or Qatar Energy is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.
