Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Desert Islands Resort & Spa, Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of People & Culture to partner with the Director of P&C in day-to-day operations, recruitment and payroll. The role requires UAE labour law knowledge and the ability to manage confidential records with professionalism.

You will drive P&C initiatives, support budgeting, onboarding, performance management and staff engagement across a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin, hospitality or related field.
• 3–5 years in People & Culture / HR, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR practices.
• Experience in recruitment, payroll, performance management and HR operations.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting, forecasts and action plans for P&C.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and compliance.
• Coordinate visas, permits and maintain confidential records.
• Administer salary and benefits programs; support payroll tasks.
• Promote team engagement and effective internal communication.
• Coordinate housing, transport and related employee welfare.
• Support learning and development initiatives and training records.
