Job summary

Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of People & Culture to join our team. You will support the Director of P&C in budgeting, forecasts, and strategic action plans while ensuring smooth HR operations aligned with our hospitality standards.

You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, payroll, and compliance with UAE Labour Law.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
3–5 years in People & Culture / HR, hospitality preferred.
Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR practices.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll, performance management.
Proficiency with HR systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of P&C in budget, forecasts, and annual action plans.
Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration.
Ensure P&C practices comply with UAE Labour Law and company standards.
Coordinate work permits, visas and records management.
Maintain confidential team member records and HR data.
Support compensation and benefits administration.
Promote team communication and engagement activities.
Support learning and development coordination.
