Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of People & Culture to partner with the Director of P&C in daily HR operations for a luxury resort. You will drive engagement, recruitment, payroll support, and compliance with UAE Labour Law while maintaining confidential records and supporting budget plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in People & Culture / HR, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR practices.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll, performance management, and HR operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient English.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of P&C in budget, forecasts, and annual action plans.
• Support P&C initiatives and align with business objectives.
• Ensure P&C policies and processes are followed and improved.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company standards.
• Coordinate work permits, visas, and other employment-related matters.
• Maintain accurate, confidential team member records.
• Support salary and benefits policy administration; monitor incentives and payroll when required.
• Communicate key messages and company updates; promote team engagement.
• Coordinate team member transportation and collaborate with Housing and Transport.
• Support planning and coordination of training and development; monitor records.
