Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a People & Culture professional to support administration, recruitment and onboarding, attendance tracking, payroll-related activities, and confidential records at Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara in Abu Dhabi.

The role covers day-to-day P&C tasks, HR system updates, and employee engagement. Hospitality experience and strong organisational skills are highly valued in this dynamic luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Formal HR or admin degree or diploma is required.
• Experience in People & Culture within hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication and record-keeping abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Culture department.
• Maintain accurate and confidential team member records and files.
• Prepare P&C documents, letters, reports, and other correspondence.
• Assist with updating HR systems and employee information.
• Support the preparation of regular P&C reports and trackers.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including coordinating interviews and candidate communications.
• Prepare documents and coordinate requirements for new joiners.
• Support onboarding and ensure new team members receive required information.
• Assist with transfers, promotions, and other employment processes.
• Respond to team member queries and direct to P&C staff as needed.
• Assist with employee requests, letters, certificates, and P&C services.
• Support team member engagement activities and P&C events.
• Monitor attendance and leave records; assist payroll-related information.
• Follow up on attendance, overtime, and other records as required.
• Assist visa, work permit, Emirates ID processes and related coordination.
• Ensure confidentiality of P&C information and support other duties as assigned.
