Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Dubai is seeking an entry level management professional to help lead the kitchen on a daily basis. You will assist in pastry and general kitchen operations, staff supervision, and maintaining sanitation and budget adherence.

You will work closely with restaurant and banquet teams to coordinate service and timing for events, while ensuring high guest satisfaction and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years culinary/f&b related experience.
• Or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel & Restaurant Management with 2 years related experience.
• Experience in culinary, food and beverage operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains food handling and sanitation standards.
• Oversees production and preparation of culinary items.
• Leads shifts while preparing food and fulfilling requests.
• Coordinates service with Restaurant and Banquet departments.
• Assists in purchasing and inventory management within budget.
• Trains and develops kitchen staff and handles performance feedback.
• Ensures quality of raw and cooked food meets standards.
• Supports new menu concepts and promotions.
