Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in Dubai is seeking a Pastry Chef De Partie to join our upscale kitchen team. You will lead pastry production, assist with menu development, recipe costing, and staff training to ensure flawless service for banquets and everyday dining.

You will collaborate with the restaurant manager and hotel operations, maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction while mentoring junior chefs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Chef De Partie in Pastry.
• Demonstrate initiative at all times.
• Ideally PIC Level trained.
• Strong desire to improve on skills and knowledge.
• Attention to details: ingredients and measurements for menus.
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop menus, recipe costing, training of dishes.
• Assist with training and developing.
• Communicate with restaurant manager for smooth running of front and back of the house.
• Lead and coach junior team members through training and mentoring.
• Maintain high service standards and supervise kitchen operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of function spaces and service areas.
• Oversee stock rotation, ordering, and food safety compliance.
