Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a talented pastry cook to assist in the preparation and service of desserts, with mise-en-place for the outlets. You will maintain food safety, hygiene, and high quality presentation in a fast-paced kitchen.

Ideal candidates bring cake decorating skills, knowledge of baking techniques, and a Food Handler or Food Safety Certificate, with strong teamwork and time-management abilities for a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic cake decorating, piping, glazing and dessert plating.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry equipment operation.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation (HACCP).
• Understanding of food storage, stock rotation and waste control.
• Attention to detail and creativity
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Food Handler or Food Safety Certificate.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparation and service of food, mise-en-place for outlets as required.
• Adhere to food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation practices.
• Maintain dating, proper storage, rotation and waste control.
• Maintain cleanliness of working areas and facilities.
• Participate in events, banquets and other functions as required.
