Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, seeks a pastry professional to support food preparation and service in a luxury hotel setting. You will prepare mise-en-place for outlets and contribute to high-quality pastry offerings for guests.

Role requires knowledge of baking techniques, pastry equipment, HACCP and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment within Minor International group.

Qualifications

• Basic cake decorating, piping, glazing, and dessert plating skills.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and operation of pastry equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation (HACCP).
• Understanding of food storage, stock rotation, and waste control.
• Attention to detail and creativity. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Food Handler or Food Safety Certificate.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparation and service of food; mise-en-place for outlets.
• Adhere to guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygienic surroundings in working areas.
• Maintain food safety, protection, dating and proper storage.
• Take responsibility for hotel property and facilities.
• Participate in departmental training to improve skills.
• Maintain adherence to checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Assisting at events, banquets and other functions as required.
• Adhering to personal hygiene, grooming, fire safety rules and health & safety rules.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
