Job summary

GEMS Education in Abu Dhabi is seeking a proactive Parent Engagement Coordinator to support the Principal in building a strong parent community and achieving enrolment targets, while delivering high-quality customer service to new and existing parents.

You will coordinate and lead school tours for prospective parents, manage Front of House operations, and develop communications channels to keep the parent community informed and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead school tours for prospective parents and visitors, promoting the school’s USPs and presenting the school in the best possible way, to ensure enrolment targets are met or exceeded.
• Day to day management of the Front of House/Reception ensuring quality customer service to new and existing parents across all customer touchpoints.
• Manage and continually develop the school communication channels, such as newsletters, to keep the parent population fully informed of school activities as a key driver of customer/student retention.
• Organize parent/community events to engage parents in school activities and celebrations and support parent engagement activities.
• Promote the school by providing stories and photographic material that highlights the school’s achievements in internal newsletters and communication channels (e.g., website, LCD screens, newsletters). If required, support in English and Arabic.
• Collaborate with School Principal/CEO and SLT to develop and implement retention strategies to maintain enrolment targets.
• Undertake regular surveys of new parent views on enrolment processes and other relevant subjects; collate responses and provide analysis with recommendations.
• Assist with development and implementation of the school marketing strategy as a key driver of enrolments and ensure marketing material is current.
• Develop an events calendar to support enrolment activities for the academic year.
• Ensure GEMS policies and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
• Maintain open lines of communication with existing parents to address concerns, complaints, and feedback effectively, liaising with other school personnel as required.
• Promote other GEMS schools when appropriate by arranging appointments and facilitating relationships between parents and GEMS schools.
• Attend project/staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
