Position Overview

Amazon is hiring an Operations Supervisor in Dubai, UAE to support daily last mile logistics operations and maintain safe, efficient delivery station performance. The role provides frontline leadership across logistics assistants, coordinators, delivery associates and drivers while supporting the Operations Manager with workforce planning, performance monitoring and operational execution. The Operations Supervisor will deputize for the Operations Manager when required, oversee daily workflows and KPIs, coach operational teams and coordinate with Delivery Service Providers and supporting departments. The position requires strong attention to safety, service quality, process improvement and the consistent execution of shipment activities.

Your Responsibilities

Support the overall daily management of delivery station operations and assume the Operations Manager 's operational responsibilities when required. The role requires close involvement with frontline activities, ensuring teams understand daily priorities, workloads and expected performance standards.

Operational Supervision

• Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates.
• Brief drivers and associates on workloads and operational priorities.
• Monitor execution throughout the shift.
• Support shipment delivery against established operational KPIs.
• Follow up on operational issues and coordinate timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate completion of required administrative activities.
• Work with supporting departments to improve logistics processes.
• Provide operational leadership when deputizing for the Operations Manager.

Safety and Quality

Safety and Quality Continually prioritize safety across delivery station activities while maintaining expected operational and service standards.

• Monitor working practices across frontline operations.
• Reinforce established safety expectations.

Performance Management

Monitor coordinator and associate performance and provide coaching when additional support or improvement is required. Daily workflows and operational metrics will be measured to provide visibility into site performance. The Operations Supervisor will assist the Operations Manager with regular tracking, trend analysis and reporting. Performance responsibilities also include continuous monitoring of department productivity and identifying issues that could affect operational targets.

Driver and Associate Coordination

Maintain visibility over driver and associate workloads throughout daily operations.

• Communicate workload requirements clearly.

The objective is to ensure available resources remain aligned with operational requirements.

Process Improvement

Partner with supporting departments to identify and implement improvements across logistics processes and daily operations. The Operations Supervisor will use workflow observations, performance metrics and operational experience to identify areas requiring attention, follow up on process-related issues and support practical improvements that strengthen delivery station performance.
