Job summary

Worth Alliance Shipping LLC in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an ambitious Ocean Freight Sales Executive to acquire and develop importer and exporter accounts. You will qualify prospects, coordinate quotations with pricing and operations teams, negotiate commercial terms and convert opportunities into recurring, profitable customers.

This role focuses on business development and closing activities, not pure customer service, with monthly targets for new customers and gross profit growth.

Qualifications

• At least 2–5 years of freight-forwarding or logistics sales experience in the UAE.
• Experience selling to importers, exporters and trading companies.
• Knowledge of ocean freight, Incoterms, quotations and carrier charges.
• Ability to develop new accounts and generate profitable business.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and AI-assisted sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop new ocean-freight business from UAE importers and exporters.
• Qualify prospects assigned through the company’s Commercial Operating System.
• Arrange calls, online meetings and customer visits.
• Understand shipment requirements (origin, destination, commodity, volume, equipment, Incoterms).
• Coordinate with pricing and operations to prepare quotations.
• Follow up from initial contact to booking and account activation.
• Negotiate rates and terms while protecting margins.
• Build relationships with decision-makers for repeat business.
• Maintain leads, opportunities, quotations and CRM activities.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, payment performance and profitability.
• Achieve monthly targets for qualified opportunities, new customers and gross profit.
