Job summary

Seattle Aviation Solutions (SAS) | Dubai, UAE, is seeking an IT Support Assistant to keep the Dubai team operational. You will be the first point of contact for device, printer, and network issues, handling requests end-to-end and maintaining documentation to prevent repeated questions.

The role is hands-on, desk- and remote-focused, with asset management, device setup, and process documentation as core duties. Night shift is required (8pm–5am GST).

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT/CS or related field.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 environments.
• Familiarity with DNS/DHCP/VPNs and basic networking.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and patience to resolve issues.
• Clear communication with non‑technical users.
• Ability to juggle multiple tickets and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote desktop, printer, and peripheral support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user access issues.
• Run routine system updates and security patches.
• Maintain antivirus and endpoint security on all machines.
• Onboard/offboard employees including device setup and access changes.
• Log requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Write IT procedures and end-user guides.
• Track IT assets and inventory records.
• Coordinate with IT team on escalated issues.
• Support IT projects and technology improvements.
