Qualifications

• Experience in sales, telephone customer support, logistics or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication; capable of explaining complex info clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making under pressure or with incomplete info.
• Empathetic, customer-focused approach when interacting with drivers and partners.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work 8-hour afterhours/night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers during afterhours and night shifts.
• Listen to drivers' concerns, assess situations quickly, and provide practical solutions.
• Assist drivers with load, receiver, shipper, routing, and other transportation issues to keep operations on schedule.
• Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to retrieve shipment information.
• Coordinate with brokers and stakeholders for instructions and support.
• Communicate through Slack and other channels to ensure timely information flow.
• Maintain clear communication and follow through until resolution is reached.
• Work with at least one other team member each shift and take ownership when needed.
• Identify recurring challenges and contribute to process improvements.
