Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid invites applications for a skilled Night Manager to lead the overnight team and oversee Front Office operations at the luxury Dubai property.

In this role you will supervise night staff, ensure security and accurate nightly reporting, greet VIP guests, manage escalations, and coordinate with day staff to ensure seamless check-in and check-out while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar Night Manager or Front Office supervisory role within a luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, night auditing, guest relations, and hotel procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS).

• Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with front office policies and guest assistance.
• Night Audit Oversight: Maintain auditing and admin functions of the night team.

Job Description

Rixos Al Mairid is seeking a knowledgeable and resourceful Night Manager to lead the team and provide outstanding guest services. The Night Manager represents the hotel management overnight and is responsible for Front Office Operations. The Night Manager provides direct supervision to all night shift staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Night Operations: Supervise all departments during night hours.
• Safety & Security: Monitor property security and manage emergency situations.
• Reporting: Prepare nightly reports and handover notes for day staff.
• Staff Support: Assist and support overnight staff in completing tasks.
• Act as the first point of contact for escalations to identify and resolve guest concerns urgently, either in person or in writing.
• Document all complaints, incidents, and issues requiring follow-up the next day to maintain consistency and uphold high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Greet VIP guests upon arrival, escort them to their rooms, establish rapport, and offer assistance throughout their stay
• Oversee Front Office operations, including front desk agents, telephone operators, concierge, and bell/door staff.
• Ensure adherence to all front office policies, procedures, and standards while providing guest assistance.
• Maintain responsibility for the overall auditing and administration function of the night team at Front Desk.
• Supervise late guest arrivals and early departures to ensure room allocations and check-in/check-out processes follow set procedures.
