3. KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, test, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Replace or repair defective components to restore functionality.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all work adheres to local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Report major issues and recommend improvements to the supervisor.
- Collaboration:
- Work with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized tasks or equipment supply.
- Tools and Equipment: Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
4. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Education:
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing systems, or equivalent.
5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Desirable Qualification: Minimum 3 years’ experience
Work Experience: Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in MEP installation and maintenance preferred.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing MEP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
