MENA Solutions Engineer — Telecom & API Architect

Job summary

Telnyx is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the MENA region in Dubai. You will collaborate with Account Executives, Sales Development, Product, and Engineering to help customers understand, evaluate, and implement Telnyx solutions across the Middle East.

You will lead technical discovery, deliver demos, design architectures, answer questions, support POC work, and help remove blockers to close deals. Fluency in English and Gulf Arabic is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in a client-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, telecom infrastructure, networking, and APIs.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Strong presentation and demo skills; experience with technical discovery, evaluation, POC, and closing.
• Fluency in English plus Gulf Arabic; based in Dubai or GMT+4 +/-1 with travel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the MENA sales team to own the technical side from discovery through close.
• Lead technical discovery to understand requirements, architecture, pain points and goals.
• Recommend integration strategies and architectures using Telnyx products.
• Deliver product demos, workshops, and POC support.
• Explain Telnyx products across Voice, SIP Trunking, Messaging, Wireless/IoT, AI.
• Identify blockers and resolve with Sales, Product and Engineering.
• Support customer integrations in real-world environments.
• Build lightweight prototypes or demos to show value.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Telnyx products and roadmap.
• Voice of the customer to Product and Engineering; support regional events as needed.
