Job summary

Telnyx in Dubai is building a local Enterprise Sales Pod with an AE and Forward Deployed Engineer to serve enterprise customers on Telnyx's global network — voice, messaging, AI, and wireless.

You will embed with customers, own the technical side from discovery to production go-live, and collaborate with a dedicated AE to close deals. This hybrid role requires strong English and Arabic, and travel across the UAE/GCC may be required.

Qualifications

• CS degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years building and shipping production software.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and Go.

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise customers to understand their communications workflows, AI use cases, and integration challenges firsthand.
• Build and deploy custom implementations: Telnyx APIs (Voice, Messaging, Fax, Wireless), WebRTC.
• Run open-weight LLMs in customer environments or deploy self-hosted stacks (Llama, Mistral, Arabic-language models) behind your serving engine.
• Design model routing strategies for real-time voice workloads, balancing latency, cost and quality.
• Lead POCs, pilots, and production launches from whiteboard to go-live.
• Create clear technical documentation, runbooks, and handoff materials.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues with customer teams.
