Wynn Al Marjan Island invites an experienced Pastry Chef - Mediterranean to join our Culinary team. You will oversee the Mediterranean pastry kitchen in a 5-star resort setting, shaping menus, supervising staff, and delivering pastry excellence aligned with brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in a luxury kitchen, strong leadership, cost control expertise, and superb communication. This on-site role requires flexibility to work shifts within a dynamic resort environment in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in a 5-star kitchen with pastry leadership.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff.
• Strong cost control and pricing of pastry ingredients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and staff schedules.
• Willingness to work shifts; must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Mediterranean pastry kitchen daily operations.
• Monitor resource use and optimize equipment and ingredients.
• Develop weekly set menus and seasonal offerings with Executive Chef.
• Ensure dishes meet recipes, quality, and presentation.
• Lead and coach kitchen team to maintain high performance.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and HACCP compliance.
• Address guest requests and feedback to enhance dining.
• Uphold health and safety practices; assist Senior Pastry Chef as needed.
