Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a Sous Chef – Pastry Shop to lead the pastry kitchen, drive menus, and ensure peak quality and presentation in a 5‑star UAE resort. You will manage costs, mentor the pastry team, and uphold HACCP standards in daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in a luxury kitchen, strong pastry expertise, and excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The role requires flexibility for shifts and a hospitable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in a 5-star kitchen environment with pastry leadership.
• Strong knowledge of pastry, cost control and pricing ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Pastry kitchen operations ensuring efficiency and culinary standards.
• Monitor resource consumption; optimize equipment, ingredients and inventory.
• Develop weekly menus, monthly promotions and seasonal offerings with the Executive Chef.
• Ensure dishes are prepared and presented to established recipes and quality standards.
• Lead, coach, and support kitchen team to maintain high performance and teamwork.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene per HACCP, health and safety regulations.
• Deliver high-quality pastries and address guest requests and feedback promptly.
