Reporting to the Mechanical Manager, the role combines hands‑on inspection with supervision of site activities, contractor coordination, progress monitoring, corrective action, and verification of mechanical and related construction interfaces across major tower developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect mechanical construction activities to confirm compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.
- Verify that site execution follows approved shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements.
- Monitor integrated mechanical works throughout the construction process.
- Confirm that completed installations meet required quality and technical standards before progressing to subsequent activities.
- Review ongoing construction against project schedules and identify delays or constraints affecting mechanical works.
- Follow up on progress information provided by engineers and site teams.
- Recommend corrective actions when work deviates from approved schedule, quality, or technical requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure required equipment, materials, tools, and resources are available at the work site.
- Monitor contractor readiness before mechanical installation activities begin.
- Ensure construction operations are carried out in line with established project quality policies and procedures.
- Verify compliance with approved inspection requirements and agreed construction methods.
- Identify workmanship defects, installation deficiencies, and non‑compliant conditions during site inspections.
- Communicate inspection findings clearly to relevant engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
- Follow up on corrective measures until identified issues are satisfactorily resolved.
- Support implementation of site procedures, controls, and authority requirements.
- Recommend practical improvements to departmental inspection and site supervision procedures.
- Assist management in strengthening quality, productivity, and construction control processes.
- Ensure mechanical site activities comply with applicable safety requirements.
- Monitor adherence to environmental management procedures during construction.
- Support compliance with governmental regulations and relevant project authority requirements.
- Maintain awareness of interfaces between mechanical activities and structural, architectural, and other building systems.
- Review areas where mechanical works interact with slabs, walls, structural steel, precast elements, and other construction components.
- Support inspection activities involving high‑rise tower construction interfaces.
- Review relevant piling, post‑tension slab, precast wall, and structural steel interfaces where they affect assigned inspection responsibilities.
- Apply engineering judgment when assessing constructability, installation conditions, and technical compliance.
- Identify potential risks that could affect mechanical installation quality or project progress.
- Report significant site concerns promptly to the Mechanical Manager.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, observations, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in coordination meetings, progress discussions, and site reviews where required.
- Support project teams in resolving technical and construction issues affecting mechanical works.
- Carry out additional inspection and supervision duties assigned by management.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor 's or University degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Diploma holders should have approximately 5-10 years of relevant construction site experience.
- Bachelor 's degree holders should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience.
- Proven experience working on high‑rise tower construction projects in the United Arab Emirates.
- Strong understanding of mechanical construction methods and site inspection practices.
- Familiarity with approved shop drawings, material submissions, specifications, and method statements.
- Practical knowledge of quality inspection and construction supervision procedures.
- Able to identify deviations from approved construction requirements and recommend corrective actions.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, consultants, and multidisciplinary site teams.
- Good understanding of site safety, quality, environmental, and authority compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with construction interfaces involving post‑tension slabs, precast walls, structural steel, and related building elements.
- Strong analytical ability and sound engineering judgment.
- Able to monitor work progress while maintaining close attention to installation quality.
