Job summary

Johnson Controls in Abu Dhabi seeks a Sales Manager – Telecom Systems to drive growth across the Middle East & Africa, focusing on Oil & Gas sector. You will lead business development, manage key relationships, and oversee complex bids and tenders with a view to expanding Johnson Controls' presence among major operators and EPCs in the region.

As a leadership team member, you will deploy industry knowledge, strategic sales skills, and strong stakeholder engagement to achieve revenue,

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10-12 years in Telecom Systems sales, with 3-5 years in leadership within Oil & Gas.
Proven track record of delivering/exceeding sales targets across UAE and ME markets.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in Oil & Gas.
Lead the complete sales cycle from opportunity to contract closure.
Manage major tenders and EPC opportunities for Telecom Systems projects.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with Oil & Gas operators, EPCs, consultants, and government entities.
Lead a team of sales engineers; coach and support to achieve objectives.
Develop account plans and growth strategies for strategic customers.
Collaborate with engineering, estimation, and operations to develop proposals.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
