Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Mathematics lessons across assigned Primary or Secondary year groups.
  • Support the Head of Mathematics in improving teaching standards across the department.

  • Assist colleagues in strengthening Mathematics subject knowledge and pedagogy.
  • Support development, implementation, and evaluation of Mathematics curriculum plans.
  • Ensure teaching approaches remain aligned with applicable British Curriculum or CBSE standards.
  • Review curriculum delivery and identify opportunities to improve academic progression.
  • Assist teachers in developing effective daily lesson plans.
  • Recommend appropriate instructional strategies for different mathematical concepts.
  • Promote methods that strengthen numerical fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving.
  • Encourage differentiated instruction to meet the needs of students with varying ability levels.
  • Conduct lesson observations as assigned by the Head of Mathematics.
  • Provide constructive feedback following classroom observations.
  • Help teachers translate observation feedback into measurable improvements in classroom practice.
  • Participate in follow-up observations to monitor progress where required.
  • Demonstrate effective classroom strategies through model lessons and team teaching.
  • Work alongside colleagues during team teaching activities to strengthen instructional quality.

Ideal Profile

Ideal Profile Candidates should have relevant qualifications that enable them to teach Mathematics effectively at Primary or Secondary level. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant Mathematics teaching experience is required. Applicants should have knowledge of and exposure to teaching within the UAE education environment.
