Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Mathematics department activities across assigned grade levels in line with CBSE curriculum expectations.
• Work directly with Mathematics teachers to improve subject knowledge, teaching skills, classroom strategies, and student engagement.
• Support teachers in developing effective lesson plans, assessment tasks, learning resources, and differentiated teaching approaches.
• Contribute actively to department planning, curriculum mapping, academic review meetings, and student progress discussions.

• Help ensure that Mathematics lessons meet a consistent standard of good teaching in line with the UAE framework of teaching.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics is required.
• Master of Science in Mathematics is required.
• Bachelor of Education is required.
• Distance learning or open university degrees are not accepted.
• Previous experience as a Math HOD, Math Coordinator, senior Mathematics teacher, or subject lead is preferred.
• Strong Mathematics subject knowledge with the ability to guide teachers and support student achievement.
• Good understanding of CBSE curriculum planning, assessment standards, classroom delivery, and academic improvement.
• Familiarity with UAE teaching expectations and school quality frameworks will be an advantage.
